Inspiration
Inspired by a challenge from @sheCodes to create a landing page of my favourite school subjects.
What it does
It shows a quick summary of 3 science subjects, separately in the form of videos, images, and text. At the end of each summary, there is a quick quiz to test the user's understanding and return feedback.
How I built it
I created a button and form for the user to pick which science subject they would like to interact with, and coded some styling to make sure only the input subject is shown, along with a quiz and feedback using CSS and JavaScript.
Challenges I ran into
Some of the styling wasn't immediately intuitive, and I might have written more lines of code than necessary to make it to my liking.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I got it working exactly as I envisioned and made it look as good as I imagined.
What I learned
Consistent site colours are much more appealing if you are clear on what you are trying to achieve with your site. Another thing is, it is bulky and confusing as a single file.
What's next for favourite-subject
I'm definitely separating the sections into separate files for ease of readability.
