Why?
Nano coating is currently limited to a 2D format. We want to bring innovation and expand the possibilities by coating 3D irregular and complex parts for industries such as Electronics, Aerospace, Medical and Automotive.
How it works
A sleeved robotic arm moves quickly in four axes to provide a uniform 3D nano coating membrane. Our product works stably with a high degree of control ensuring accurate nano coatings each time reducing down time and increasing your efficiency. Ease of use via a programming interface allows the client to easily repeat operations and allows automation. Thus our name "Four Axis Vacuum stage for Advanced Nano-manufacturing"
Applications
Biotech: Implants such as bone nails have highly irregular geometry and need accuracy and precision to avoid erosion and reduce possibility of foreign implant rejection while also increasing the lifetime.
Electronics: Ultrathin silicon in CPU manufacturing has an emerging need for more uniform membranes.
Waterproof coating for devices that become thinner and lighter each year is the next frontier for nanocoating.
What's next for FAVAN
We have a working prototype and are working on minimum viable product to prevent nanocoating on the arm itself. Following tests and experiments are being conducted in the Advanced Nanocoating Lab.
