Inspiration
We are inspired to create the Fat2Fit to help individuals stay active by tracking their daily physical activities
What it does
Fat2Fit will record the user's physical activities such as walking, running and climbing. It calculates the number of steps, distance travelled, times, speed, and calories burned.
How we built it
We integrated motion sensors such as latitude, longitude, acceleration, altitude and speed. The backend processes raw sensor data to classify activities accurately. We use a mobile phone to track the data, and all the data we
Challenges we ran into
We had less experience using MATLAB, so it was challenging to learn and apply it for developing the fitness tracker. But we tried our best to do it together
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully ran it and created a graph.
What we learned
We gained a deeper understanding of sensor data processing. We learn how to makea graph from the data that we had collected
What's next for Fat2Fit Fitness Tracker
We will discover more about MATLAB, maybe we can improve by adding some features.
