Inspiration

The inspiration for FastServe stemmed from our desire to enhance the dining experience for university students. We observed the challenges they faced with manual payment processes and set out to create a solution that would make the entire dining process efficient and enjoyable.

What it does

FastServe seamlessly integrates technology into the university dining experience. By linking students' existing identification cards with a digital meal card, the system provides a swift, secure, and convenient method for accessing meals on campus. Mobile money integration and lost card protection further contribute to a hassle-free dining experience.

How we built it

We developed FastServe using cutting-edge technologies and a user-centric design approach. The system leverages mobile money APIs, integrates with university databases, and employs robust security measures to ensure a seamless and secure dining experience.

Challenges we ran into

During development, we encountered of Deadline Pressure where the project faced a tight deadline, adding an extra layer of complexity to the development process, integrating the mobile money system and ensuring compatibility with various university identification cards. Overcoming these hurdles required collaboration, innovation, and a deep understanding of both technological and user experience aspects.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We take pride in creating a solution that not only addresses the immediate challenges of university dining but also enhances the overall experience for both students and restaurant managers. FastServe's ability to streamline processes, ensure security, and provide quick solutions for lost cards showcases our team's commitment to innovation.
