Have you ever waited in a long line at a petrol station? If yes then we have a solution for you.
What it does
We have built a website that you can use to find the nearest petrol station and reserve your fuel. In addition, we track petrol prices and other fuel costs in the market, as well as tell the traffic near your local petrol station by using Google Maps. The process is simple,You can pay through any method you like online. We have partnered with thousands of Petrol Stations and hundreds of banks nationwide. Regardless of where you are from, your time has been saved.
How we built it
We have built our website using Html , CSS , Javascript and integrated with google maps api. we are also using google pay Api for the payments.
Challenges we ran into
We have faced some challenges like integrating the Api , creating a sign in/sign up website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
From not knowing what an API was to integrating it into our website, we are proud of our achievement
What we learned
We learned how to work efficiently with a team of individuals coming from different backgrounds, as well as new technologies like APIs and Github.
What's next for FastPump- Book Your Petrol
Next challenge for us would be the adoption of the system on a large scale and the use of our website for filling fuel that will be the biggest challenge for us.
