During quarantine period, patients of covid-19 are receiving calls to check their health and whether any symptoms are appearing.
Hospital resources are stretched. Therefore by delegating responsibility of health checking to people, resources are alleviated to enable health workers to care for more urgent patients. By providing more information and enabling people to record their own health, then people can contribute at an individual level.
EUfastcare helps medical professionals keep track of Covid-19 people conditions, without the need of personal interaction for all low risk scenarios. Considering the stretched healthcare resources, routine tasks for non critical Covid-19 patients condition tracking can be delegated to the patients themselves by providing an application which regularly reminds and guides patients to self check for symptoms, highlighting which symptoms to check for and collecting related data on the application. This information is stored to have traceability of patients health condition at any point in time. An administrative dashboard enables health workers to identify which patients are skipping their checks, such that these can be follow up on, enables the addition of accurate and verified information to be communicated in broadcast to all patients or to individuals and highlights any high risks patients from the symptoms recorded for immediate follow up. Solution could then be enhanced to identify patterns of symptoms which can identify high risks patients before their health condition actually deteriorates to enable preventive medication and prediction of emergency cases at hospitals to better manage the expected load.
