Inspiration
As students, we understand the pain of getting to your favorite place and then waiting in a massive line. We wanted a solution to resolve this terrible issue and skip the lines.
What it does
It provides up-to-date information on the crowded level of campus venues such as restaurants and recreational buildings.
How we built it
We used JavaScript throughout development with React-Native and Back4App, with Figma for UI/UX design.
Challenges we ran into
- Difficulty connecting the front end with the back end.
- Issues installing necessary packages and dependencies.
- Difficulty sharing code between members of the group.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We completed a full prototype of our app with several interesting features.
What we learned
- We gained experience in unfamiliar tech stacks like React-Native, MongoDB, and ExpressJS.
- Learned how to effectively manage version control among team.
What's next for Fast Track
- Completing the app.
- Implementing extra features such as achievements, developing alternate metrics in crowd level algorithm, and make available to Georgia Tech community.
Built With
