Inspiration

Fast Quest was inspired by the idea of creating a fast and immersive 3D running experience using Bitmoji. I wanted to build a game that feels adventurous and visually engaging, combining speed, obstacles, and a clear goal instead of an endless runner. The desert environment with lakes was chosen to create contrast and a sense of challenge.

What it does

Fast Quest is a 3D Bitmoji runner game where the player runs forward through a desert filled with dunes, lakes, and obstacles. The player must dodge barriers, jump over hazards, and navigate the environment to reach the final win zone.

How I built it

The game was built using Lens Studio with a 3D environment and a Bitmoji character. I used scripting to control player movement, obstacle interactions, and game progression. The environment was designed to feel dynamic while keeping the gameplay simple and focused.

Challenges I ran into

One of the main challenges was balancing the speed of the character with obstacle placement to keep the game fun but not overwhelming. Another challenge was optimizing the 3D scene to ensure smooth performance while maintaining visual quality.

What I learned

Through this project, I learned how to design a complete 3D runner experience in Lens Studio, manage game flow from start to finish, and improve gameplay clarity within a short experience.
