What it does
Fastbox is an AI agent that coordinates import containers from the moment they're unloaded at the port until the empty container is returned.
It watches. It follows each container's status through Terminal49's tracking data: arrival, customs or freight holds, release for pickup, the free-time deadline, and fees. New events arrive automatically by webhook.
It decides. A rules engine labels each container GO, NO-GO or AT RISK. It works out what's blocking the box, who is responsible, when the box will realistically be ready, and how much money is at stake if nothing changes.
It acts. It does the coordination work directly in each party's own system. It opens a task for the customs broker, books the terminal pickup slot, and dispatches a trucker, falling back to a spot-market truck if none is free. It also sends the driver the gate details, books the warehouse dock and schedules the empty return. Nobody has to adopt a new tool.
It asks first. Any action that costs money above a set limit waits for the owner's approval. The exception is when the deadline is close: then the agent goes ahead and tells the owner afterward.
It re-plans. Every new event triggers a fresh pass. If the port is disrupted by a closure, labor action or system outage, it re-prioritizes every affected container at once.
It keeps a record. Every event, decision and system call is logged with a timestamp, which gives the importer evidence when disputing a charge.
The owner sees one dashboard and gets plain-language updates instead of logging into several systems.
