🌟 Inspiration
We wanted an easier way to shop online while still doing other things—like checking emails or browsing the web—without constantly switching tabs or losing progress. At the same time, we realized that choosing outfits is mentally exhausting, and most tools don’t remember your personal style. So we set out to build an AI stylist that actually knows you and makes fashion effortless.
👗 What it does
FashionIcon Assistant is an AI-powered digital stylist that uses mood, event, and weather to generate the perfect outfit. It learns your size, colors, body type, and personal vibe over time using MemMachine’s memory system.
It suggests full outfits (tops, bottoms, shoes, accessories), helps you shop smarter, and feels like a stylish best friend who always gets your look.
🛠️ How we built it
Integrated the MemMachine framework and modified Python backend files
Used FastAPI (app.py) to build and test the backend quickly
Leveraged OpenAI API for generating natural outfit recommendations
Built the UI with React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Vite
Used MemMachine’s memory system to store and recall user preferences
Tested responses in real time with MemMachine’s demo/debug features

🛍️ Shop the Scene – Upload a photo or reference a movie/music video, and the AI finds similar pieces online. 🔒 Cyber Closet Security – Securely store your wardrobe using image recognition + encryption. ⚡ Full Outfit Generator – Complete head-to-toe looks in seconds. 🧠 Memory-Based Wardrobe – Track what you’ve worn to avoid repeats. 🌴 One-Minute Packing Assistant – Auto-generate trip outfits based on location and duration. 🧩 Future Goal: Turn it into a browser extension or standalone app!
