Fashion Assistant

Inspiration

Fashion Assistant was inspired by the daily challenge of choosing what to wear based on fluctuating weather conditions. We recognized the dilemma people face: despite having full wardrobes, deciding on an outfit that's both stylish and suitable for the weather can be daunting. Our goal was to create a tool that simplifies this decision-making process, adding a touch of personalization and enjoyment to daily outfit selections.

What it does

Fashion Assistant takes user input on temperature and weather, then recommends suitable attire. It goes a step further by generating an image of the recommended outfit, providing a visual representation of how the outfit looks when worn. Additionally, the integrated chatbot enhances user interaction, offering styling advice, answering FAQs, and providing customer support.

How we built it

We developed Fashion Assistant using generative AI technology. A text generator interprets user inputs about temperature and weather to suggest fitting outfits. An image generator then creates a visual of these recommendations. The chatbot feature allows for real-time interaction, offering users additional information and personalized support.

Challenges we ran into

A major challenge was ensuring the AI accurately interprets user inputs to provide relevant outfit suggestions. Achieving a balance between creativity and practicality in the AI-generated outfits required fine-tuning. Another challenge was creating realistic and visually appealing images that accurately represent the recommended outfits.
