Inspiration

Through a local survey that we did, we found out that 9 out of 10 people feel annoyed when they were able to find an outfit they liked, however none available in their size. We also frequently see and experience ourselves how hard it is to search for OOTDs that we can use, given our different body sizes. It could take lots of time to explore the store just to search for a shirt, pants or even a pair of shoes that is in our size.

What it does

Our app, Fash, helps people to be able to search outfits without worrying about their size not being in stock. Fash displays outfits that are according to the user’s body size. FASH also provides an explore page to meet other people with similar body size and can help each other by posting their OOTDs, making it more convenient for the user to choose an outfit that they want to buy according to their body size.

How we built it

We built our prototype using Figma.

Challenges we ran into

As beginners, we were unfamiliar with the tools on Figma, especially with the prototyping section. We watched several tutorial videos on how to get our prototype going, luckily we were able to catch on and finished making our prototype.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

In general, we are very proud to have finished making our prototype, and as well as enhancing our skills throughout the process. Most importantly, we are proud of being able to work together very nicely as a team. In addition, this is both our first Hackathon, so it was exciting for us to be able to give out our ideas through this prototype.

What we learned

Since we are both beginners, we learnt alot from the workshops held. Through the project, we got to learn UI/UX, and how to pitch our project. Our teamwork and time management skills were also trained during making the project.

What's next for FASH

In the near future, we're hoping that we can actually make this app and have people use our app as a solution to the problems they are facing. We also want to add more features and services that we can offer. We would also love to enhance our app and the content that it offers.
