Inspiration
One of the major problems faced by SME's majorly farmers, is their access to finance. The underlying cause of this is that no one wants to invest in a business that they are not sure of the returns or borrow a business funds and they are not able to pay back. All of these is summarized to the fact that they don't have a verified form of reputation that shows their ability to pay back based of a verified record.
What it does
We were inspired to build a system that allows a farms operations to be registered. This would be used in building a portfolio for the farm that would help the farm access finances, which may be in form of investment or loans. The portfolio's will be designed and tailored to each farm's data by an AI model which will show them details about a farm and why they should invest or give out a loan to the farm.
How we built it
The MVP is a web sevice which was built using Java as the backend and a Javascript Framework called React was used to develop the User Interface
