FarmSaathi AI

Inspiration

Farmers often face challenges in identifying crop diseases, understanding farming practices, and getting timely agricultural information. We wanted to create a simple AI-powered assistant that makes farming information easier to access.

What it does

FarmSaathi AI is an intelligent farming assistant that helps farmers:

• Ask farming-related questions and receive AI-powered guidance.
• Upload crop images to identify possible diseases.
• Get crop care and irrigation suggestions.
• Access weather information for better farming decisions.
• Use a simple and user-friendly interface.

How we built it

We designed a web-based application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The project uses AI integration for farming assistance and can be extended with AWS services for backend processing, data storage, and cloud deployment.

Challenges we faced

The main challenges include providing useful farming recommendations, designing a simple interface for farmers, integrating AI features, and making the application accessible to users with different levels of technical knowledge.

What we learned

We learned how AI can support agriculture, how to design user-friendly applications, and how cloud technologies can help build scalable solutions.

Future plans

We plan to improve crop disease detection, add voice-based assistance, support regional languages, and integrate more AWS services to make FarmSaathi AI more useful for farmers.
