The amount of fake Agro-inputs on the Market in East Africa is at a staggering 40% of the agro inputs that are supplied on the EastAfrican market which is an alarming percentage.

This not only affects the crop yields of the farmers but also harms the farmers health and endagers the environment.

FarmLink is developed a solution to solve this through providing a platform that links farmers to verified authentic suppliers of genuine agricultural Inputs

For a farmer, we provide a USSD-Technology based interface where one can seamlessly purchase Agro inputs fro a curated list of verified authentic suppliers.

For the suppliers, we are providing an onchain registry which is a smart contract that fully adheres to the fulfilment of all necesities for a supplier to certified by the stake holders.

We also provide a second onchain smart contract built on Lisk that mints a dynamic NFT for the supplier which changes its meta data bassed on the time the supplier has been supplying authentic agro inputs to the farmers through FarmLink. This could be used as proof elsewhere for example during bids.
