Inspiration

I always liked farming games so it is suposed to be a farming tycoon.

What it does

The game is not finished, I got to the competition when there was less than a month to deadline and I was absolutely new to Meta and its development. I had not enough time to learn and develop the full game. As per when I publish this, the game has de hability of shopping/selling vegetables, plant them in spots and work with the soft-economy. also has a money event every certain amount of time that spawn money randomly on the world. It was suposed to have the whole farming loop, and a popularity stat. You would be able to help or steal from others and you could set traps to avoid stealing. I wanted to design some quests and more events, but hadn't enough time.

How we built it

I used some assets from the Asset Library, some from GenAI and some are mine. Also I've used GenAI to generate the sky/environment. GenAI helped me a lot on understanding errors on my scripts.

Challenges we ran into

Learning to develop for Meta from scratch.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having learnt and developed as far as I did in two weeks at the same time that I had a full-time job, language classes and sport trainings is, for me, a great accomplishment.

What's next for FarmHeist Tycoon

I hope that, in a short amount of time, I can finish, polish and publish the whole game for Meta.
