🌱 Inspiration The inspiration for FarmConnect came from observing how farmers struggle with market access, unpredictable prices, and lack of direct connection with consumers. We wanted to build something simple that empowers farmers and reduces middlemen dependency.

🚜 What it does FarmConnect is a platform that connects farmers directly with buyers. It helps farmers list their produce, track demand, check fair prices, and receive direct orders from consumers or retailers.

🛠️ How we built it We built FarmConnect using basic front-end tools like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a clean interface. The backend uses Firebase/Node.js to store data and manage user accounts. We worked as a team to design, code, and test every feature step-by-step.

⚠️ Challenges we ran into We faced challenges in designing a simple UI for farmers, handling real-time data updates, and managing location-based produce listings. Ensuring smooth navigation on low-end devices was also difficult.

🏆 Accomplishments that we're proud of We are proud that we created a working prototype that allows farmers to list products and buyers to order easily. We also managed to keep the platform lightweight, simple, and accessible for rural users.

📖 What we learned We learned how to work as a team, manage tasks efficiently, and integrate front-end with backend databases. We also understood more about real-world agricultural problems and how technology can solve them.

🚀 What’s next for FarmConnect Next, we plan to add features like live price updates, a farmer-help chatbot, delivery partner integration, and multilingual support to make the platform more powerful and easy to use.
