Inspiration: cities are imagined being in domes, why not farms?
What it does: It is an easier way of farming on non-hostile planets such as Howler
How we built it: We discussed many ideas for what kind of sensors we wanted for our dome. We came up with materials and how the bubble would function.
Challenges we ran into: Some challenges we faced were figuring out what we should include in our final project/presentation, figuring out the electricity source, and how to deal with the heavy precipitation on the planet.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: That we're able to come with creative ideas as a group and finish the presentation and product.
What we learned: That we can live sustainably on other planets such as Howler with the correct planning.
What's next for Farm Bubble: To start off with small-scale experiments to demonstrate its usage on other planets.
