Inspiration

This project was born from a painful story—one that is, sadly, all too common. My own younger sister, a minor, was the victim of sexual assault. In a social context marked by fear, silence, and shame, she found herself alone, misunderstood, and without support. I watched my family fall into despair while justice slowly slipped away from us, despite all our efforts. But this personal experience is not an isolated case. In Guinea and across West African countries, countless victims endure the same ordeal: forced silence, complex procedures, judicial delays, lack of follow-up, and sometimes complete impunity. Confronted with this reality, our team came together, united by a shared determination to transform this pain into action. It is this dual dimension—both personal and collective—that drove us to create Rise4Justice: a platform designed to make justice more humane, accessible, and swift. A digital tool built to restore voices to those who have been silenced and to address a social crisis that can no longer be ignored. We firmly believe that through technology and human commitment, we can change the course of events and create a future where every victim is heard, supported, and protected without delay.

What it does

FARAFINA JUSTICE NETWORK (Rise4Justice) is a digital platform that enables sexual assault victims to report incidents safely, receive rapid legal and psychological assistance (within 48 hours), and track their case progress in real-time. The platform also provides a dedicated space for professionals (lawyers, NGOs) to effectively support victims while ensuring transparency and fighting corruption.

How we built it

We leveraged Bolt.new, a powerful no-code platform, to rapidly build an intuitive and secure interface. Through partner tools, we integrated automated notifications, a case assignment system for referrals, and multilingual resources with Lingo. The platform is deployed on a professional domain via Entri and Netlify, ensuring optimal accessibility. We also utilized Tavus to create personalized explanatory videos, making the experience more human and approachable.

Challenges we ran into

The primary challenge was balancing the legal complexity and sensitivity of the subject with the simplicity of use required for victims, who are often vulnerable. Ensuring data confidentiality and security was also a major concern. Finally, adapting the platform to a specific multilingual and cultural context required significant effort to remain accessible to all users.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have created a functional prototype in record time, capable of providing both human and automated support within 48 hours. The platform adheres to security standards and protects victim anonymity. It enables effective collaboration between victims, professionals, and institutions while offering unprecedented transparency in case tracking.

What we learned

This project taught us the importance of listening and empathy in designing high-impact social tools. We discovered the power of no-code platforms to accelerate development without sacrificing quality. Most importantly, we learned that technology, combined with a human-centered approach, can radically transform complex and unjust systems.

What's next for FARAFINA JUSTICE NETWORK (Rise4Justice)

We plan to enhance the platform with artificial intelligence capabilities to analyze cases and detect bottlenecks. We also aim to expand our partner network to provide even more comprehensive support and launch online awareness campaigns. In the long term, our ambition is to deploy this model across other countries facing similar challenges.
