Inspiration behind FantomWorld

Metaverse is a virtual universe where people can interact with each other and digital objects in a three-dimensional (3D) immersive environment. FantomWorld inspiration came from the idea of having a real estate metaverse on the Fantom blockchain, where people can buy, sell and rent homes on the Metaverse.

But instead of narrowing it down to only homes, we decided why not make it a Metaverse World on the Fantom blockchain, where we won’t only be focusing on homes alone, but the whole necessities to make the world lively on the Metaverse on Fantom blockchain.

However, the team decided to start this amazing adventure with a marketplace, where homes, collections and lands that will be available in the FantomWorld Metaverse will be available to be bought, created by creators, and can be sold as well, it doesn’t end there creators end royalties for creating and building on FantomWorld.

What FantomWorld Does

FantomWorld is with a vision of bringing the Real World experience to the Metaverse on the Fantom Blockchain but we will be focusing on these and much more:

1. NFT Marketplace : FantomWorld is beyond just an NFT marketplace it is a world that we are creating on the metaverse, however the marketplace is where the buying and selling will be happening, homes will be bought, collections such as wearables etc and lands on the FantomWorld.

2. Education and Learning: We will be building a World on the Fantom blockchain where education and learning will be an important process, imagine a space for learning and educating co developers and the community at large on the Metaverse.

3. Entertainment and Recreation: Another target of the team in the Fantom World is Entertainment and recreation, we will be building FantomWorld to be a world where the whole community can come for recreation and not leaving the entertainment aspect behind, it will be a metaverse for fun, learning, recreation and a space to rewind.

4. Personal Expression and Creativity: We are creating a world where creativity will not be neglected, as seen in our marketplace we will not be the only one building the FantomWorld, we will be building with creators that are willing to build with us, creators will be able to upload their 3D homes as NFTs on the Marketplace to be available on the FantomWorld, creators will be able to sell their creations to potential buyers.

5. Healthcare and Therapy: Healthcare and Therapy are so important in today’s world which is one of the reasons we will not only be focusing on the NFT part of things as well as the entertainment alone, we will be providing research and healthcare tips for those in the FantomWorld.

Challenges we ran into

We faced a lot of challenges in the process of developing the Fantom World Nft Marketplace, we were unable to hire a 3D designer to design our 3D models for us, which led to us generating our 3D for now from an AI, moving forward we will hire a 3D designer to join the team to be able to bring more of our ideas to live.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are super proud of ourselves that our idea is beyond an idea now and we are bringing it to live. We are also happy that we can announce the NFT Marketplace which is a stepping stone to more development we will be building on the fantomWorld.

What's next for FantomWorld

There are a lot we have in place for FantomWorld this is just the beginning part of the development as we are devoted to constantly building some of what is next for FantomWorld includes:

1. Design of 3D Models for FantomWorld: Our next target is to hire 3D designers for the 3D models of FantomWorld, we have our ideas already and how we want the world to look like and activities we want our users to experience.

2. Integration of Adventurous Scenes: Entertainment and adventure are part of our focus in FantomWorld we want our users to be able to have a real world experience.

3. Education and Learning materials: Educating our users is part of our goal in FantomWorld we want our users to be able to Learn as they enjoy the reality which will require providing Educational platforms and materials most especially to help with the wide Cryptocurrency as well a use case for Fantom as a whole.
