What it does

FantomGamingHub is a feature-rich NFT marketplace that enables users to seamlessly trade and collect unique gaming NFTs on the Fantom network. With FantomGamingHub, users can browse a diverse collection of gaming NFTs representing rare in-game items, virtual land, and exclusive experiences. The platform utilizes the Covalent API to provide comprehensive transaction history, empowering users with detailed information about NFT metadata, previous transactions, and market trends. By offering real-time insights and secure transactions, FantomGamingHub enhances the gaming experience and unlocks the true potential of digital ownership.

How we built it

FantomGamingHub was built using Nextjs , solidity , Covalent API . The backend leverages the power of the Fantom network and integrates the Covalent API to fetch NFT metadata and transaction history. Smart contracts deployed on the Fantom network handle the trading functionality and ensure the security and transparency of transactions. The development process involved closely integrating frontend and backend , ensuring a seamless user experience and efficient data retrieval from the Covalent API.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout the development process, we encountered various challenges. Integrating the Covalent API effectively and efficiently to fetch the required NFT metadata and transaction history posed an initial hurdle. We had to carefully design the architecture to ensure smooth data retrieval and optimize the platform's performance. Additionally, ensuring the security and privacy of user transactions while providing a user-friendly interface was another challenge we faced.
