Fantom Lords: Relic Survival is an immersive platformer action game where you embody the courageous Sir Hopper, a valiant frog knight. Stomaco Studio (https://stomaco.studio/) is one of the very few teams building crypto-based games using Game Maker Studio 2, the engine allows us to build extremely light games, that are easily hostable on any web page.
🐸Meet Sir Hopper, our intrepid hero
Sir Hopper, a brave frog knight, has valiantly embarked on his own thrilling adventures, bidding farewell to the realm of his Fantom Lord masters, where he was once regarded merely as a humble "relic" and servant.
Determined to carve his own path, Sir Hopper fearlessly plunges into the treacherous depths of the Fantom Lords dungeon, eagerly seeking to acquire glorious treasures and establish his own legendary legacy. With his trusty sword in hand and unwavering determination in his heart, Sir Hopper stands ready to face the formidable challenges that await him, proving that even the smallest of heroes can rise to greatness.
It is up to you to help him fulfill his desire: not just to be a frog, but to become a king. He doesn't need the kiss of a princess; he needs the help of a gamer like you.
🕹️ How to play: connection and commands

Play Fantom Lord: Relic Survival on a desktop browser (Chromium-based suggested, metamask mobile and multi-browser support coming in the future); Be sure to have the MetaMask extension installed and logged in; Add and then select the Fantom Opera Mainnet RPC on your MetaMask; You might be prompted to sign a nonce through your MetaMask, this will be used to verify your run and be added to the leaderboard; You DO NOT need any amount of Fantom or any of our NFTs to be able to play, however, owning Fantom Lords or Fantom Ascended Lords will increase your final score multiplier and consequent leaderboard placement.
🦇: Deadly foes & helpful tools
Sir Hopper will have to face and overcome several dark and deadly obstacles. Ancient traps, thirsty bats, flying imps, petty spirits, and skeletons who do everything to avoid being alone underground. Without relics, Sir Hopper will not be able to defeat them, but only avoid them. Collecting any of the three power-up relics will allow him to strike and annihilate the enemies, allowing the loot of Sir Hopper to grow bigger with each masterfully surpassed level. In addition to enemies and relics, the frog hero will have to keep his eyes open to collect as many gold coins as possible, potions to recover the energy lost from battles, and keys that will allow him to surpass the level. Be advised that the evil energy of the dungeon, and the badly sewn attire of Ser Hopper will cause him to lose a gold coin every ten seconds or so, make sure to escape each dungeon in the quickest way possible to optimize your loot.
- Eldritch Beholder: this quick and annoying pest will fly aimlessly around the dungeon, avoid it at all costs;
- Forsaken Skull: This mass of ectoplasm and bones will react to Sir Hopper’s movements, patience and planning for the quickest route are the key to avoiding this cursed ghost
- The ever-present Bat: how could the dungeons below the stronghold not contain thousands of annoying bats?
🧙 🗡️🏹 Classes!
Sir Hopper, a versatile hero, masters the sword, bow, and arcane arts. To unleash his full potential, he seeks the proper relics that enhance his skills.
- Discover the Sextant, a relic that empowers Sir Hopper , equipping him with a deadly bow. Unleash deadly arrows upon foes from a distance, and use these arrows as stepping stones, enabling him to climb walls and gain newfound freedom.
- With the Scroll in hand, Sir Hopper taps into the arcane. Hold the attack button to summon lightning bolts from his fingertips, obliterating enemies. Utilize the surplus mana to float and propel himself higher, granting unlimited power and a double jump.
- Equipped with the Broken Sword relic, Sir Hopper transforms into an unyielding Bulwark. His mighty slashes rend dungeon foes apart. Unleash devastating charged attacks and a formidable rush move, propelling him through the levels with unstoppable force.

With these relics, Sir Hopper embodies a versatile champion, adapting to different playstyles and conquering the challenges that lie within the depths of the dungeon.
📝 Contract and tokenomics: “Arcane Relic - the Dungeon Delve”
The contract, deployed on fantom and linked to the Relic Survival game maker 2 web build of the game is a custom-written erc20 storage/distribution platform. It could be defined as a very advanced faucet for tokens, or as an extremely simple staking platform/token distribution method.
The logic is simple, everyone is free to deposit an ERC20 token on the contract (We will start with the XRLC token of our own ecosystem, but will later include parner tokens as additional rewards)
Once the contract holds any ERC20 token the owner can allow and set the reward % of a stored token, and every user interacting with the contract will exchange a fixed amount of FTM (starting from 0.1 FTM) and be rewarded with the allowed token. This transaction, called DELVE will be used as a distribution method for our XRLC token, and any future internal or partner tokens; it will also be read by the Relic Survival game build and award a higher score and power-ups during the run. It will act as a very fun faucet + in-game bonus, giving a tangible reward and feedback to the user who likes to play again and again on our awesome little platformer.

It is currently configured to distribute minute amounts of DAI stablecoin and our own XRLC currency for each 0.1 FTM received. We plan to load it periodically and balance the reward weights to offer meaningful amounts of ours and partnership tokens on each run of Relic Survival!
🏆Leaderboard: compete for weekly prizes!
Each playthrough of Relic Survival will require a signed nonce, this will verify your address as a unique competitor in our Leaderboard. Signing is enough to compete, but you will receive multiplier bonuses based on:
The number of Fantom Lords you own (FTL: 0xfee8077c909d956E9036c2d2999723931CeFE548) The number of Ascended Fantom Lords you own (XFTL: 0x6139b9C548FBd1C50d2768f3464D89c8744aB5f2) Dungeon Delving: each playthrough will prompt you to Dungeon Delve: Delving costs only 0.1 FTM and will reward you with a share of Arcane Relics (our ecosystem token, XRLC: 0xE5586582E1a60E302a53e73E4FaDccAF868b459a), choosing to Delve will increase the final score multiplier, and provide some in-game stat boosts to Sir Hopper the frog knight!
Prizes will be given, in the form of FTM, XRLC, and Hallowed Fantom Lords NFTs, based on the leaderboard, which will be reset every week. MEET THE LORDS
The “Fantom Lords” project is an NFT project that has grown and matured into a fully featured web-3 experience. We are actively working on Fantom since September 2021, and we kept developing our project through bear and bull markets regardless of the market fluctuations.
Our final product, our most significant endeavor is without a doubt our Dungeon Crawler game, you can already play it with or without NFTs. We strive to build a fully featured, fun, and high-quality, game that will attract both new and existing users to our ecosystem and the Fantom crypto world.
An additional platformer spinoff has been developed for the Fantom summer hackathon of 2023, called “Relic Survival” We host a small but tightly knit community of old-school RPG enthusiasts on our discord server, attracted by our awesome art and coming from the Fantom community, our proud “Lords” are a safe haven in the sometimes artificial and distant world of crypto communities.
Fantom Lords are first and foremost NFTs, with an original collection and an upgraded collection derived from the burning and “ascension” of the originals Both collections are already integrated and playable on our HTML5 game.
TOKENOMICS With our token XRLC distributed through our “stronghold” staking platform, we have tied together all of our new and old collections, giving our users choice and freedom when it comes to staking, selling, or using the XLRC generated by holding our NFTs to mint new NFTs.
The release could be considered “bleeding edge” at the time, especially for Fantom, as it was a unique and challenging release(especially on the code aspect, we have to thank 0XKalakaua for his custom solidity code) And I think the tokenomics aspect of the “ascension” are especially advanced and should be considered a fair and interesting distribution model for the later stages of an NFT project, check out our whitepaper.
