Inspiration

We are fans of the fantasy football game that has been around for a while but we noticed that web3 would be the perfect home for such a game. This will allow players of our dapp to mint NFTs as their drafted player and trade with each other seamlessly using blockchain technology.

What it does

It allows players of our dapp to buy, trade, stake and mint NFL NFTs and play against each other for prizes

How we built it

Out tech stack inclues using Chainlink data feeds, IPFS, Truflation API, Hardhat, ethers.js, Solidity

Challenges we ran into

Fetching the data and working with the CIDs were difficult but we quickly found solutions and work arounds to get what we wanted out of the metadata

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having the dapp actually do what we wanted it to do such as mint, Stake, and trade with other players. it's really cool to see it work after a month of development.

What we learned

Take breaks and come back to your work after facing a roadblock. A fresh mind helps you navigate the problems that could arise and you will make smarter decisions with a new point of view

What's next for fantasyTeams

Keep expanding development and including more functionality that will make our dapp super fun to use. The market for fantasy football in web3 is untapped and we believe we have a big opportunity on our hand with a huge head start :)
