This is like Fantasy Football for stock market investing with real-time results. The app is an educational tool that would allow future retail investors to learn about the real-time effects of the stock market investing without having to risk money. Through sponsorships or advertising revenue prizes can be won that would be used in real investment accounts.
Challengers are allowed to pick 5 to 10 stock options to hold for 1 week, 1 month, 3-6 months or a year. The challenger will choose how much money they would like to invest: $1,000, $10,000, $50,000 or $100,000. The challenger with the best result of investing in fantasy competitions using $1,000 / $10,000 / $50,000 and $100,000 virtual dollars win badges. After earning a certain level of badges they can enter to compete for a real cash prize. Users can buy and sell virtual stock but virtual brokers fees will be deducted to so that the trading results are as realistic as possible.
