Inspiration

Samuel, who has a passion for basketball, came up with the whole idea.

What it does

With unique formulas that we developed, we can take a player's past performance and use that data to predict how they will perform in the next game by giving how many points, assists, and rebounds a player is expected to make.

How I built it

We created a website through which the data is organized and displayed. The data, (mathematical formulas/tables) is crunched in an SQL database.

Challenges I ran into

The biggest technical challenge is getting our website to display properly. We used a free domain provided by Domain.com, but the website is still not displaying properly, since we were told that it takes about 24-48 hours to properly display. Alternatively, we put everything in a Github repository.

Outside of technology, the biggest challenge was staying awake. We developed non-stop Friday night into Saturday morning, which left us fighting fatigue and struggling to stay focused.

What I learned

How HTML, CSS, and Javascript work together to form a working website
