Inspiration

The inspiration behind this website is that we wanted to showcase our love of food and the different cuisines that are available throughout the world. It also closely ties in with our culture as these foods are a representation of that.

What it does

It allows the users to view and if they wish, recreate the recipes we have on our website so that they can also have a taste of the various cuisines that are presented on our website. It also allows our users to contact either one of us via our websites contact page if they wish to get in touch or if they have any queries.

How we built it

We built the website using HTML and CSS Styling. We used VSCode for the coding and GitHub for the version control of the project. We also initially made a design of the website using Canvas and discussed on how we want each page to look.

Challenges we ran into

We struggled with the version control of our project via GitHub, as there were various merge conflicts occurring during the process which was a struggle. However, in the end, we managed to resolve this.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of finishing off the project in good time, as well as the animations that we were able to add to our website; for e.g., the fade-in effect of the recipe images that we added.

What we learned

We learnt how to work effectively as a team and also enhanced our problem-solving. We also learnt the value of time management.

What's next for Fantastic Duo Project

We plan to expand our knowledge and learn even more about different animations and coding styles so that in future projects, we can do even better.
