Inspiration

As passionate advocates for the arts and sports industry, We have witnessed countless NFTs lacking any meaningful utility. Additionally, We've seen how athletes and artists struggle to fund their creative projects through centralized websites, while facing exorbitant fees and disconnection from their fans.

That's why We decided to take action and create a platform that not only empowers athletes and artists to mint their own NFTs, but also fosters meaningful connections between creators and their supporters. By using our platform, fans can easily and actively participate in the success of their favorite athletes and artists, while also receiving a share of the profits.

Our mission is to revolutionize the NFT world by creating a space that not only allows for utility, but also promotes collaboration, creativity, and community. We believe that by building a platform that prioritizes the needs of both athletes and artists and their supporters, we can create a more engaged and sustainable future for everyone.

What it does

Our platform allows users to create smart contracts and link NFTs to them. These NFTs can be configured to hold a portion of the deposits made to the contract, providing a simple and transparent way to distribute profits among supporters.

This means that creators, such as artists and athletes, can easily fund their projects while providing their fans with a tangible stake in their success. Fans, in turn, can support their favorite creators while also potentially earning a return on their investment.

Our platform opens up new possibilities for how creative projects are funded and supported, creating a more equitable and collaborative community in the process.

How we built it

For the interface we used NextJS with TailwindCSS, to manage the web3 in the frontend we choose web3, wagmi and rainbowkit libraries, and the smart contracts were created with Solidity.

Challenges we ran into

During the development of fanager.io, we encountered a number of challenges. One of the biggest hurdles was ensuring that our platform was both user-friendly and functional, we know our target is people without knowledge about NFTs and smart contracts so we tried to make the app as easy as possible for the users to interact.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to have created a platform that is both innovative and empowering. By linking NFTs to smart contracts, we've provided a new way for athletes and artists to fund their projects, while also giving fans a more direct stake in their success. We're also proud of our commitment to transparency and security, ensuring that our platform is both trustworthy and user-friendly. Launching fanager.io has been an incredible accomplishment, and we look forward to seeing it grow and evolve in the future.

What we learned

Throughout the development of fanager.io, we learned a great deal about the challenges and opportunities involved in creating a platform that bridges the worlds of NFTs, smart contracts, and creative projects. We gained a deeper understanding of the technical requirements and limitations of smart contracts, as well as the importance of community and transparency in building a successful platform. We also learned a great deal about the potential of NFTs and how they can transform the way we interact with the real world.

We recognize that teams and organizations play a critical role in the success of many athletes and artists, which is why we're exploring ways to incorporate these entities into our ecosystem as well. This will give fans the opportunity to participate in decision-making processes not only for individual players, but also for teams as a whole.
