Inspiration

We got inspired from the Split Bill option on different payment apps and thought to make it more interesting.

What it does

After having a party with your friends, the major task is to split the bills among each other, but why do it in the simple and boring way and not make it more fun. For this, in the SplitPay tab we have created three different options, First is to Split bill Equally among all Second is to Split Bill by Ratio,

and the Third one is to Play a Quiz and according to your score, you pay the bill with the person with the highest score, pays the least and person with the lowest score , pays the highest... This will make you keep updated to general knowledge to save money...!!!

How we built it

We built it using HTML and Javascript. We made input tags and buttons to enter and save your score for the quiz and enter the amount to split, after that we used JavaScript to fetch these values and then divide it according to the ratio.

Challenges we ran into

The initial challenge was to think something new to enhance FamPay We ran into many challenges like fetching the data using JavaScript after entering it, creating the quiz as interesting and interactive it can be.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of ourselves as we didn't stop even after such challenges, instead we kept solving each one of them one by one. This may not be the best, but we are sure that we gave our complete 100% to the project to make it more interesting.

What we learned

We learnt a lot of new things while making this project like how JavaScript actually works inside HTML page and how to create HTML form and link it to our Database(XAMPP). Apart from the technical factors, we also learnt to never stop working even though many challenges come in your work.

What's next for FamPay Split Payment Enhancement

Next we have thought of merging our quiz score, with the reward points on FamPay, so the higher you score, more the reward points you earn, and lesser you pay. Isn't this Double Benefit.....!!
