Inspiration
There was a lot of chaos in using paper money as pocket money for teens. Taking a record of expenses, splitting bills were very difficult. That's why we came up with this app as an innovative solution.
What it does
Our app basically is an innovative way to manage money, it allows user to get knowledge about his/her spendings by creative charts and graphs. Apart from this a user can learn about investing by daily tips and tricks.
How we built it
We used Flutter and Firebase to make this application. First of all backend was created and an OTP authentication and login page was created. Then we made our frontend in which creative UI was implemented. After this the we went to the main app and implemented our unique features apart from existing features.
Challenges we ran into
The first challenge was to make a smooth and working authentication page which works on OTP system. After that we had to choose a simple sober yet creative UI for frontend of this app, deciding the colour theme which is soft to eyes was a difficult task. Adding our unique features was also a challenge as these features were not existing in any payment app known till date.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We made our own OTP authentication page from scratch. We added the unique features in our app which was a tough task yet we achieved it. The experience was great in doing all this from thinking an idea, implementing it, adding unique features etc.
What we learned
Our team got to learn about various technologies used in the market, we interacted with other participants as well and enhanced our connections as well as knowledge base. This was a great opportunity to learn how a payment app actually works and what challenges are faced by the developers while making the app. It was a real world encounter.
What's next for Fampay
We introduced our thinking and concept of some unique and necessary features via our app. We would love it if Fampay gets impressed and use our creative features and implement them on its official app.
