family-paper-pack

What it does

Preparing tax or insurance paperwork for a whole family means hunting for receipts in phone photos, scanned PDFs and several people's folders, with many duplicates. family-paper-pack is a Skill for UGREEN AI NAS that turns one request, such as "gather this year's medical receipts for the family", into a list with one line per receipt, each tied to its source file.

How it works

It searches read-only, shows the list plus a "needs your eyes" list for anything unreadable, and waits for approval. Only then does it copy the approved originals into a new folder and write a ledger. Originals are never moved, renamed or deleted, and a later run reads the ledger and handles only new files.

Status

The initial Skill package passes the Starter Kit static checker. Nothing has run on a NAS yet.

AI tools used

Claude (Anthropic) via Claude Code: drafting the Skill text and the proposal, and running the Starter Kit static checker. The entrant set the goal and design. Full disclosure is in references/disclosure.md inside the ZIP.
