Inspiration
This project was inspired by the movie Encanto. We want families to share their skills and strengths with each other to help and improve each other.
What it does
This Full Stack Web Application was created to help extended families(great aunt, 3rd cousins and etc.) help each other share skills and keep in touch. For example, You're trying to get your foot in the door into the tech industry. A great start would be to FAMILY GIFTS and look for a family member in your family that is in the tech industry. FAMILY GIFTS makes it easier for families to network and stay in touch will little effort!
How we built it
This Full Stack Web Application was built with express js, handlebars, and bootstrap
Challenges
The challenge we ran into was the time limit. If we had more time we would have implemented a photo gallery where families could share photos with each other and a button where families can belong to a group.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the functioning authentication and creation of the families in our application.
What we learned
We learned how to create a full-functioning Full Stack Web Application in a little over 48 hours.
What's next for Family Gifts
We want to be able to share photos (Cloudinary) amongst family members.
