Inspiration

The Fallout/Skyrim series are known for their modding potential, and are also known for their insanely vast configuration files and options.

It's not an easy task some times locating the settings you need to edit, knowing what values to put, and which file to save the setting to. I wanted to change this and make editing Fallout 4 configurations easier than playing the game itself.

What it does

You are presented with every single fallout 4 configuration option available, and descriptions on all the known settings functions. You can then edit or revert those settings.

You are also given an option to create character profiles, enabling you to manage multiple characters and their saves with a single click.

How I built it

I used C# for the back-end and WPF to create the user interface

Challenges I ran into

This is my most popular tool and supporting the thousands of users by myself is the biggest challenge by far. Fortunately NexusMods has a bug report system so it was easy to keep track and fix bugs.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This is my most downloaded tool, with 1,018,711 tracked downloads (some download locations are not tracked so the number is higher)

I've been featured on several gaming news websites and the software is used by several Fallout 4 youtube personalities.
