Inspiration

The world is swimming in false information. We can find these malicious intents everywhere on the Internet. Twitter, Facebook, YouTube are the main websites being used as media to spread the false information.

Trying to confirm the information seems not to be practised widely amongst internet users. People tend to share and spread the false information quicklier than those who are trying to stop it. Therefore, we must find a way to let people check the validity of the story with ease.

What it does

It checks the Tweet from a user if the piece of information is correct or not against our machine learning model.

How we built it

Using Pytorch to build the model and with Node.js to serve as the server.

Challenges we ran into

It's difficult to build a bot on Facebook since the limitations are too many. We moved to Twitter since it offers more API and fits our project more than Facebook.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

What we learned
