Inspiration

Fairy AI was inspired by the desire to make online dating feel magical, personal, and supportive, with a unique animated AI coach helping users along the way.

What it does

Fairy AI offers a stylish online dating platform featuring a customizable, floating fairy assistant who provides dating advice, personalized coaching, and match suggestions through chat, voice, and video.

How we built it

We used React + TypeScript for frontend, Supabase for backend, ElevenLabs for AI voice, Tavus for AI video, RevenueCat for subscriptions, and deployed everything with Netlify and Bolt.new.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing the animated fairy assistant, ensuring smooth multi-platform support, integrating video APIs, and building advanced matching algorithms proved tricky but rewarding.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully blending elegant design with complex backend services, building a unique AI-powered assistant, and creating a rich user experience.

What we learned

Deeper API integrations, advanced state management, handling real-time interactions, and polishing responsive UI/UX at scale.

What's next for Fairy AI

Launch advanced matching algorithms, build real-time video coaching, implement push notifications, add safety/report features, and expand the fairy’s personality options.
