Inspiration

The NEET 2024 SCAM in India that led to major outrage among the students in India

What it does

Provides Fair and Decentralised solutions for examination without anyone's control overcoming the discrimination and bribery

How we built it

I used typescript in the entire project with frameworks like Nextjs for frontend, nodejs and expressjs for backend, Recoil for state management, Prisma-ORM and PostgresSQL for databases

Challenges we ran into

Cryptography was a major challenge along with the security measures we need to take while overcoming such a huge issue was also a major challenge

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Solving a real-world problem has always been my dream and hence I am proud that I was able to create an impact

What we learned

A huge bits of Cryptography was learnt during this hackathon , the timelock function and the shamir's algorithm was also a major learning

What's next for FairExams

We are planning to go in a way where student can also give exams on our platform. We plan on including link onchain video-rendering service to monitor the students and preventing cheating from the exams. We also planning to integrate an eye-tracking AI model that acts as an anti-cheating mechanism
