FAFSA Applications and University Demographics

Inspiration

Wanted to explore if there was a correlation between a university's demographic makeup and how many students seek financial aid through submitting a FAFSA.

How we built it

This project is written in Python using the Anaconda distribution. We used the pandas library for our data processing and analysis on a Jupyter Notebook hosted on an Amazon EC2 instance.

Challenges we ran into

The most challenging parts were finding relevant datasets and processing the data correctly

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to clean all our datasets and were able to merge our data sets.
