Inspiration
Online diagnoses have created several problems for medical professionals, and patients alike. Oftentimes, online diagnoses misdiagnose their users, spreading misinformation and causing unnecessary panic. While this program is virtually useless, it's ulterior message is to criticize online diagnoses.
What it does
Our program takes user input in the form of relatively mild symptoms, and then returns possible diseases they may have.
How we built it
We built the program using java in Android Studio.
Challenges we ran into
While working we faced many coding challenges excepted with a large project like this, but we overcame them all. Other than that coding went smoothly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of how successful this project was, and how much we were able to do. We hope that this entertains the judges and other hackathon participants.
What we learned
During this hackathon we learned a lot more about the design side of creating an app in android studio. We also learned and used new libraries and functions from java. We surprisingly learned a lot about major past and present diseases while creating this app even though most of the data was supposed to be inaccurate and useless.
