Inspiration

The core inspiration behind Fact Adda E-Learning comes from a major gap in our education system: millions of students in India and across the globe only study scientific principles through theoretical text in books. Due to a lack of school infrastructure, they never get to experience a real science laboratory. Science cannot be truly learned just by memorizing definitions. To bridge this digital divide, I independently built Fact Adda E-Learning. My mission is to make education highly interactive, deeply useful, and accessible directly to the screens of students who lack physical resources.

What it does

Fact Adda E-Learning is an all-in-one educational ecosystem packed with high-utility features for everyday learning:

  • The Digital Science Lab Feature: This is the heart of the platform. It brings a virtual science lab directly to students' devices so they can interactively explore and visualize experiments that they otherwise only read about in textbooks.
  • Ad-Free NCERT Solutions in Hindi: Most online educational sites are cluttered with distracting ads. Fact Adda provides clean, verified, and high-quality study materials completely in Hindi so students can focus 100% on learning.
  • Automated Cloud Data Syncing: Utilizing the Google Drive API, the platform dynamically tracks and securely saves student progress. This means a student can leave an assignment or lab module halfway through and resume it from any device without losing their data.

How we built it

I architected this multi-platform ecosystem independently using modern cloud tools:

  • Frontend Hosting (Main Platform): Deployed the core web interface on Vercel for optimal speed, security, and global accessibility.
  • Micro-Frontend Integration (Digital Lab): Hosted the specialized Digital Science Lab module on Netlify to keep the platform modular with zero-downtime.
  • Version Control: Managed all iterations of the source code repository using GitHub.
  • Cloud Storage Backend: Integrated the Google Drive API with public access parameters to handle live cloud storage and smooth data file synchronization.

Challenges we ran into

As a solo 9th-grade developer, my biggest challenge was managing dynamic data states between different hosting platforms (Vercel and Netlify) while keeping the API connections stable. Setting up the Google Drive API to save user progress data automatically without breaking took days of debugging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am incredibly proud of building a fully functional web ecosystem entirely by myself that safely handles user data transactions. Successfully connecting the frontend hosted on Vercel with a backend database utilizing the Google Drive API to securely save and load student files dynamically is a massive milestone for me.

What we learned

Through this project, I mastered asynchronous programming, working with REST APIs, managing access tokens, and configuring environment variables securely. I also learned the importance of micro-frontend architecture by isolating the Digital Science Lab feature on Netlify while keeping the main learning portal running on Vercel.

What's next for Fact Adda E-Learning

I plan to expand the Digital Science Lab feature into full 2D/3D interactive physics and chemistry simulators. If $L_u$ represents the learning utility of the student over time $t$, my goal is to mathematically maximize the engagement factor so that: $\frac{dL_u}{dt} > 0$.
