Inspiration
Attendance takes time and can be fake. I wanted a smart way to automate it.
What it does
It uses face recognition to detect people and mark attendance automatically with time.
How we built it
Built using Python, OpenCV, and face_recognition. It captures webcam video, detects faces, matches them, and saves attendance in a CSV file.
Challenges
Lighting issues, face angles, and improving accuracy.
Accomplishments
Working real-time system that saves time and avoids duplicate attendance.
