Inspiration
There was one time I was with some successful people at T-Mobile. I am very bad at remembering names, but I took a photo, and I wanted to get their linkedIns.
What it does and how I made it
I scraped linkedIn using selenium and python. I then saved the photos and uploaded the links to a CSV file. I did this for about 500 linkedIn profiles
Then I build the facial recognition detector with the facial recognition library and cv2.
Now if the person is one of the people who I have data on I can find their linkedIn with just their face.
I know this sounds a little bit creepy and, admittedly, it is. However, I never shared this project with anyone and it was a learning experience that was very valuable to me.
