We allow retailers to analyze facial expressions to make informed decisions. This uses machine learning API's to solicit specific information about a potential customer, such as gender and expression, using facial features. Using a camera, which in this case was a camera module for the Tessel, we do exactly this. The images and information we capture traverse a complex pathway along:

  • The Tessel microcontroller
  • A computer vision Python script
  • An online NoSql database.

Placed at a booth or showcase in any retail environment, we aim to simplify business analysis in ways that allow anyone and everyone to optimally target their ideal customers.
