FaceTune and Social Media

Inspiration

A reading that discusses the way gender norms are reflected into our online presence and social media.

What it does

It exemplifies the way women generally use social media and the time it takes to post a single post because of editing.

How we built it

Using HTML and CSS, we created a web app to display our content.

Challenges we ran into

We're both fairly new to coding, especially web design, so it was difficult to create a web app with little prior knowledge about it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to design our first website.

What we learned

HTML, CSS, and a JavaScript engine that we didn't use but plan on using in future projects.

What's next for FaceTune and Social Media

Expanding it and making it more interactive to emulate FaceTune and the problems it can create. Also adding a way to tackle this issue.
