Inspiration
FacetLab is a free, open-source educational simulator that teaches the diamond 4Cs (cut, colour, clarity and carat) by letting you do the work yourself.
What it does
It runs entirely in your browser using WebGL. You inspect a rough diamond crystal, find and reveal inclusions, plan the proportions, polish the facets of a brilliant cut, and generate a finished 4Cs scorecard at the end. It is a hands-on learning tool from 4Cs.co.za, with no pricing, no appraisal, and no signup required.
How we built it
Built with WebGL and Three.js, running fully client-side in the browser. The source is open on GitHub.
