Inspiration
Our main Inspiration is the struggle of everyday payment, and the embarrassment of forgetting your wallet, credit card, or smartphone.
We focused on simplicity, safety, speed, security, and reliability.
What it does
Enable us to pay for our goods in a seeming less way using Camera, AI, and our face.
How we built it
Not built yet but we're planning to use Tensorflow for AI, HTML and CSS for Website, Flask for the API, and Ionic for the cross-platform mobile app.
Challenges we ran into
One of the challenges we ran into is how to distribute the workload between servers so we don't overload them. and to design a model that would have in focus the protection of its user's digital print.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our first UI/UX for the website and the app, and our ability to innovate using futuristic technology, in less than 48 hours.
What we learned
The required frameworks and languages to make such an app that uses AI and different possible models to protect the data.
What's next for FacePay
Helping the merchant to adapt the technology and provide targeted ads.
