Inspiration
The Discovery that facebook tools give developers who want to implement these tools in their respective apps find it difficult to implement. My Inspiration came as a result to help these Developers archive their goal.
What it does
DevAid encourage Developers to get to know how to use and implement FaceBook Tools in their apps. It also comes with sample apps and codes to really explain these tools in details.
How we built it
DevAid is built using Java implemented as an Android app which has support from Android version 15(Gingerbread) to present. This ensures it works on all android platforms.
Challenges we ran into
The common challenge here is implementing the FaceBook Tools ourselves. Had to read over and over again and then think of a better way to help Developers understand the simplicity behind the sences.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have been able to accomplish the fact that FaceBook Tools can infact be implemented in any app without any problem or stress.
What we learned
The truth about this is, with all the libraries there in, FaceBook Tools proves to be smarter, contains more cool stuffs and even easier to implement. Example take Fresco, an image loading library, which contains the ability to convert your images to circular forms adds borders etc.. whereas we look for apps that just coverts to circular forms without caching,borders,etc.
What's next for Facebook DevAid
I have added some cool stuffs for DevAid to be implemented soon. This includes: -Forum for Learning -Quiz -Competition between users -Assured update on upcoming libraries from FaceBook -Aid for Web Developers
