Face Mask Detection

❓ Inspiration ❓

As we can see during the Covid-19 many peoples, childrens, grandparents go outside without face masks and even today also Covid is not over Yet. So we need to cover our face with the face mask. In accordance to this idea I develop a project with the Help of Machine Learning and AI that focuses on a person face mask(Wears or not).

🤔 What it does 🤔

In Many Crowdy areas we are seeing most people are not wearing Face Masks and Roaming. This increase the Chance of Spreading Covid-19 and Other Viruses. For This Problem I have created a Software Prototype Names Face Mask Detector that can identify wheather HE/SHE wearning Face Mask or not and also it works for Mutiple persons at a time.

• The Face Area Square Turns Green If you wear a mask.
• The Face Area Square Turns Red if you not wear a mask.

Majorly, I built it with the help of Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.

😫 Challenges I ran into 😫

• Training System Took some time.
• I faced a challenge to train the machine learning model and implement it into the project

👏 What I learned 👏

• I learned many new things like working with Flask, Tensorflow etc.
• It was my 2nd time using Keras and I had lots of fun and learnings while using it.
• Handling this project with College Classes was a test of my Time-Management Skills, but that finally worth.

🚀 What's next for Face Mask Detection 🚀

• In future I can go to Tranportation staffs to automate and install my prototype into their system. So that their maximum time will save.
• I can add some features like Body Temperature Testing while scanning face mask. So that High Temperature person will be taken out from line.
• Further I can make a app where I can Measure Human temperature and according to it recommend some medicienes for fast recovery.
