Face Detection

Inspiration

Nowadays, there is a lot of burglary happening, Which happens due to the lack of security systems around us. We wanted to create a security system that provides us with top level of security.

What it does

It generates photos from a video. It can also detect faces from a given photograph. It shows whether the face is detected or not.

How we built it

We built it using haar cascade XML file, Python, Face Detection libraries.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We thoroughly studied the face detecting modules and studied which method can be best for our project and applied them to save time. Now we are aware of different modules and how we can efficiently verify faces.

What we learned

Face detection plays a vital role in security purposes. It also saves time to do minor tasks.

What's next for Face Detection

We have made a lock using proteus professional. Which is a 4 digit key lock. In the future, we aim to combine all modules and make a face detector security lock. Which can detect face after analyzing different values.
