We have created a system that allows drivers to optimize their delivery route.
Dividing the map into quadrants allowed for separate trucks to be sent out according to a location in the most efficient manner. If there were multiple deliveries in one location, our code would allow for an additional truck to be sent to that location and divide the route.
Our interactive map allows for the driver to choose a location on the map itself and plots a course to the location and back. This map allows for multiple locations to be set and still have a round trip delivery.
Traffic, and driving limitations can be taken into account as well to ensure maximum efficiency.
