Inspiration
We’re passionate about Formula 1—and just as passionate about the world of stocks. F1 Stocks was born from the idea of combining the excitement of motorsport with real-world financial data to create something engaging and informative.
What It Does
F1 Stocks displays the current stock performance of sponsors associated with each Formula 1 team, allowing users to explore the financial side of the sport they love.
How We Built It
The project was built from the ground up using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a custom JSON database. We focused on creating a functional and visually clear interface while celebrating our enthusiasm for Formula 1.
Challenges We Ran Into
We faced several challenges, including UI scaling issues, coordinating work across the team, and managing limited development time. Balancing features with deadlines was a key learning experience.
Accomplishments We’re Proud Of
- Designing and implementing a custom JSON database
- Building a fully functional website from scratch
- Delivering a clean and usable UI within a short timeframe
What We Learned
This project taught us the importance of understanding our limitations, prioritizing features, and working efficiently as a team to deliver on time.
