Inspiration

Our passion comes from a shared interest in chaotic, arcade-style games with a touch of F1 racing. Games like Crazy Taxi and GTA inspired the reckless, high-energy gameplay, while old school arcade games like Spy Hunter influenced the pixel-art visual style and the endless driver mechanic.

What it does

F1’s Most Wanted allows players to take control of a runaway racer, avoid incoming obstacles, and survive as long as possible while being relentlessly chased. The longer you last, the more intense and chaotic the gameplay becomes.

How we built it

We built the project using Unity, a game engine that utilizes C#. We combined programming, game design, and pixel art to bring our vision to life.

Challenges we ran into

We faced several challenges, especially with time constraints, which forced us to cut or simplify ideas. We also encountered issues with coordination and initially underestimated the overall scope of the project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of creating a game that is playable, fun, and polished. Successfully turning our idea into a working game was a major accomplishment for our team.

What we learned

We learned new formats and techniques in both coding and art. This project also gave us a deeper appreciation for the effort that goes into even the simplest games.

What's next for F1's Most Wanted

We plan to release the game on platforms like itch.io as a free download. In the future, we hope to add more mechanics and further polish the gameplay experience.
